Tripiefly does not sell your personal information for money. Like most free, ad-supported websites, however, we allow advertising partners such as Google to collect information through cookies and similar technologies on our site to show you personalized ads. Under some U.S. state privacy laws, this may count as a “sale” of personal information or “sharing” for targeted advertising. This page explains how you can opt out.
Your privacy choices
1. Turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC)
Global Privacy Control is a setting in some browsers and browser extensions that tells websites you want to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information. For visitors in U.S. states whose laws require it, Google, our main advertising partner, receives the GPC signal directly and switches to restricted data processing, which turns off ads based on your interests. 2. Use our privacy message when it is shown to you
Depending on where you are, our site may show you a privacy message from Google with a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” option. If you see it, you can use it to opt out on that browser.
3. Email us
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.” You do not need to create an account or give us more information than necessary. Because we do not have user accounts, most of the data collected on our site is linked only to a browser or device, not to your name. We will apply your request to any personal information we hold that we can link to you, explain the browser-based options that stop the collection for advertising and reply within 15 business days.
4. Adjust your browser and ad settings
- Block third-party cookies or clear your cookies in your browser settings.
- Turn off personalized ads from Google in My Ad Center.
- Opt out of interest-based ads from many participating companies at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
Browser-based opt-outs apply only to the browser and device you are using. If you use another browser or device, or clear your cookies, you may need to opt out again.
Other privacy rights
Depending on your state, you may also have the right to access, delete, correct or get a copy of your personal information, and to appeal if we deny your request. You can make these requests by email, and an authorized agent can make them on your behalf. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
